Katia Kamangar
Katia Kamangar has over 25 years of experience in residential and mixed-use real estate.
Before joining Bard in 2021, Katia was a partner at SummerHill Housing Group for 15 years. SummerHill Housing Group is part of the Marcus & Millichap family of real estate companies based in Palo Alto. In her role as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, she led all new Northern California community development activities for SummerHill Homes and SummerHill Apartment Communities and in this role oversaw the creation of over 6,000 new housing units.
For ten years prior to joining SummerHill, she was with Greenbriar Homes Communities as Director of Development and led governmental entitlements for the company’s Northern California real estate holdings. Earlier in her career, she worked in the real estate division of Mobil Oil Corporation and at Continental Bank in Chicago.
Katia’s primary areas of expertise are real estate investment analysis, due diligence of subdivisions and master planned communities, and manager evaluation.
